CHARTREUSE

So happy that this shade is turning up in clothing form. This morning after a lovely Balthazar bench breakfast with my old roomie Caitlin, I walked to Opening Ceremony to be reminded how much I love Cacharel in the form of a Chartreuse cotton dress. Cacharel has become one of my favorite favorite labels in the past couple of years because of their crazy cute liberty prints and color palette. Once all my apartment business is taken care of, and I can loosen up my pockets a little bit, I really hope it still is in the store.

I have never posted so much in a day, and while forgetting that, duh, it is London fashion week right now, I was excited to see the J.W. Anderson show posted on style.com already! Love love love. I am nuts about the chunkyness of those brogues with the hairy bits and the wooly pieces and how wearable everything is while still maintaining that something that keeps it special.

DAY1 / Rachel Comey

Favorite looks from Rachel Comey's show yesterday. I am a super inexperienced show-goer so I was really excited to be there. The dress in the middle/bottom row totally stole my heart, it just hung on her shoulders and the pleats bloused open in the back when she walked...kind of wishing this was for the summer collection. I was really into the hair too, all piled up on the top and straight down in the back.

Faves from SS11/I can't believe FW shows start in a little over a week/I kind of feel like I'm in the calm before the storm at the moment and I am always a little overwhelmed to go through every show as its happening. I am still going through Men's fashion week (Junyaaaaaa! my hands down favorite). But here we go - my faves from the Spring/Summer season, way overdue :)
