oo-oo-oo-ooo-ooo- backdate this

Faves from SS11/I can't believe FW shows start in a little over a week/I kind of feel like I'm in the calm before the storm at the moment and I am always a little overwhelmed to go through every show as its happening. I am still going through Men's fashion week (Junyaaaaaa! my hands down favorite). But here we go - my faves from the Spring/Summer season, way overdue :)

Gift Guide Number 2: Boys

I actually think my boyfriend is really easy to buy for, but it was harder for me to put together this little batch of gift ideas while avoiding what I actually got him (none of these things!) because I think he actually checks this once in a while. I did however include one thing I got for my brother (the Brooklyn cookbook), and something I got for Luke last year but I like everything else a lot and hopefully a boy you know will also!

1. Everything he needs to make his own beer in his kitchen - Beer Making Kit from the Brooklyn Brew Shop $40. 2. An awesome cookbook with recipes from tons of great brooklyn restaurants...Franny's...Dumont...Marlow and Sons etc etc. The New Brooklyn Cookbook via Amazon $26.40 new. 3. A cute minimalist japanese backpack by Nanamica via Trés Bien Shop $188. 4. I always want to surprise someone with perfect concert tickets, but my timing has always been off. The Get Up Kids anyone?? I am still super bummed about missing the Something to Write Home About tour last year....that would have been a nice present... 5. A fancy shave and haircut from Freeman's Sporting Club Barber with a bottle of D. R. Harris Aftershave Milk - $38. 6. A cute button up by Wood Wood from Creatures of Comfort $155
