HESTER ST FLEA MARKET!
I went to Massachusetts last weekend to surprise my family BUT I didn't know what I was missing 2 blocks from my apartment! HESTER ST FAIR. It sounds like Manhattan's own Brooklyn flea with vintage vendors and good food and cute people galore. And this will be happening all summer and fall long! I might not spend all my free time in Brooklyn after all this summer. I don't even need to get on the train. Very exciting! See you there!

Yes, I missed the opening but I'm totally going next weekend! My boss from FADER is selling vintage clothing on Saturdays as well as some other goodies, but mostly I just want a lobster roll and some crazy-flavored macarons!
hmmm, it was super crowded (i felt like cattle) and the lines for food were VERY long. still, there's plenty of good shopping to be had, and great people-watching! worth checking out, especially if you're only two blocks away!
Oooh, I want to go! I'll be in NY over summer so will have to find it :)
